Needle Plate & Feed Dog B30

The needle plate (B30) is a flat, durable steel plate positioned directly beneath the sewing machine needle. It stabilizes the fabric during stitching and has a precisely engineered hole that allows the needle to pass through cleanly. The feed dog (B30) is a toothed mechanism located just below the needle plate. As the machine operates, the feed dog rises through slots in the plate to grip and advance the fabric, ensuring consistent stitch length and smooth feeding.
